Farmers of the country have got Kisan Credit Cards made. If you also want to avoid the trap of moneylenders, get KCC made. Its rules have been made very easy. Now Kisan Credit Card will be given to the bank within just 15 days of applying. The government wants farmers not to take loans from moneylenders and take them from banks. So that they do not have to bear a huge burden of money interest of the moneylenders. Only three documents will be taken for KCC. The first is whether the person giving the application is a farmer or not. For this, the bank will look at his farming papers and his copy will be taken.
The second residence certificate and the third applicant's affidavit that he does not have a loan outstanding in any other bank. No processing fees should be charged for the KCC application. KCC used to get loans of only Rs 1 lakh without guarantee, but now it has been increased to Rs 1.5 lakh. Now the Kisan Credit Card will not be limited to farming only, and its facility will also be made available for animal husbandry and fisheries. Andhra Pradesh has the highest average loan of Rs 61032 per farmer from moneylenders. Telangana with an average of Rs 56362 is at number two and Rajasthan is also with Rs 30921 at number three. The central government wants to free the farmers from this vicious cycle of debt so that their lives can improve. Farmers can avail this facility from any nationalized bank.
