UGC's report on whether exams will be held in colleges, when the college will start - know what the probability is

The committee formed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) on issues including the academic session of the annual exam 2020 in colleges and universities, as well as conducting online classes, submitted its report to the Ministry of Human Resource Development late on Friday night. Following the report prepared by the UGC, the government will now take a further decision.

The UGC may announce guidelines for the 2020 session for higher education institutions across the country on Monday or Tuesday. Based on this guideline, how these educational institutions will give new admissions in the next semester and how the next semester will be. It is possible that the 2020 academic session could be shortened due to coronavirus.

According to sources, the college and a committee of experts have suggested that Corona's case be dropped from the country by then. Until then it is not appropriate to call students to class. Because coming to class will not maintain social distance.

According to a report published in Amar ujala, only UG and PG students can be given promotions. This is because the report suggests that online exams are not possible in India. Because colleges and universities do not have this kind of infrastructure. So the universities which have this facility can take the exam online. While waiting for the completion of Corona in the colleges of other universities or proposing in its own academic council that the first and second year students of the drama and postgraduate program be given promotions on the basis of the previous semester.

It may also be proposed to take online classes from home on Saturdays and Sundays in the 2020 academic year to complete the course. By merging the coming holidays in December, it may be recommended to cancel all the holidays except the big ones.

SHIXANIK NIYAM SANGRAH TATHA SHIXAN PANCHO PDF BY BHARTBHAI CHHUHAN
The founding of a colonial college had long been the desire of John Graves Simcoe, the first Lieutenant-Governor of Upper Canada. As an Oxford-educated military commander who had fought in the American Revolutionary War, Simcoe believed a college was needed to counter the spread of republicanism from the United States.[8] The Upper Canada Executive Committee recommended in 1798 that a college be established in York, the colonial capital

Ih 15, 1827, a royal charter was formally issued by King George IV, proclaiming "from this time one College, with the style and privileges of a University ... for the education of youth in the principles of the Christian Religion, and for their instruction in the rious branches of Science and Literature ... to continue for ever, to be called King's College." The granting of the charter was largely the result of intense lobbying by John Strachan, the influential Anglican Bishop of Toronto who took office as the college's first president. original three-storey Greek Revival school building was built on the present site of Queen's Park.
Under Strachan's stewardship, King's College was a religious institution closely aligned with the Church of England and the British colonial elite, known as the Family Compact Reformist politicians opposed the clergy's control over colonial institutions and fought to have the college secularized In 1849, after a lengthy and heated debate, the newly elected responsible government of the Province of Canada voted to rename King's College as the University of Toronto and severed the school's ties with the church. Having anticipated this decision, the enraged Strachan had resigned a year earlier to open Trinity College as a private Anglican seminary University College was created as the nondenominational teaching branch of the University of Toronto. During the American Civil War, the threat of Union blockade on British North America prompted the creation of the University Rifle Corps, which saw battle in resisting the Fenian raids on the Niagara border in 1866.] The Corps was part of the Reserve Militia lead by Professor Henry Croft

In 2000, Kin-Yip Chun was reinstated as a professor of the university, after he launched an unsuccessful lawsuit against the university alleging racial discrimination.[29] In 2017, a human rights application was filed against the University by one of its students for allegedly delaying the investigation of sexual assault and being dismissive of their concerns. In 2018, the university cleared one of its professors of allegations of discrimination and antisemitism in an internal investigation, after a complaint was filed by one of its students. The First and Second World Wars curtailed some university activities as undergraduate and graduate men eagerly enlisted Intercollegiate athletic competitions and the Hart House Debates were suspended, although exhibition and interfaculty games were still held] The David Dunlap Observatory in Richmond Hill opened in 1935, followed by the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies in 1949] The university opened satellite campuses in Scarborough in 1964 and in Mississauga in 1967. The university's former affiliated schools at the Ontario Agricultural College and Glendon Hall became fully independent of the University of Toronto and became part of University of Guelph in 1964 and York University in 1965, respectively. Beginning in the 1980s, reductions in government funding prompted more rigorous fundraising efforts. The University of Toronto was the first Canadian university to amass a financial endowment greater than C$1 billion in 2007.

E devastating fire in 1890 gutted the interior of University College and destroyed 33,000 volumes from the library, but the university restored the building and replenished its library within two years Over the next two decades, a collegiate system took shape as the university arranged federation with several ecclesiastical colleges, including Strachan's Trinity College in 1904. The university operated the Royal Conservatory of Music from 1896 to 1991 and the Royal Ontario Museum from 1912 to 1968; both still retain close ties with the university as independent institutions. The University of Toronto Press was founded in 1901 as Canada's first academic publishing house. The Faculty of Forestry, founded in 1907 with Bernhard Fernow as dean, was Canada's first university faculty devoted to forest science. What Is a Mesothelioma Law Firm?
A mesothelioma law firm helps victims determine whether they can file a lawsuit against the manufacturers of asbestos-containing products.

These manufacturers knew that asbestos could cause workers (and the general public) to get sick, but hid the truth for decades to make a profit. Mesothelioma law firms work to bring these manufacturers to justice and retrieve compensation for victims.

Mesothelioma law firms have:
A Database of information related to the asbestos industry, which can be used to strengthen lawsuits

A nationwide network of mesothelioma lawyers that can file claims from almost anywhere in the country

Caring legal teams who can answer your’ questions by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

The ability to get the highest value from a mesothelioma claim

Anyone diagnosed with mesothelioma should reach out to a law firm as possible. There is limited time to take legal action, and mesothelioma law firms may be able to file lawsuits for victims before time runs out.

What a Mesothelioma Law Firm Does

A mesothelioma law firm does almost all of the legal work so victims can focus on their health and spending time with their families. Below, learn more about how a mesothelioma law firm may be able to help you.

Assign a Dedicated Legal Team

Mesothelioma law firms do not rely on only lawyers to file mesothelioma claims. An entire team of medical and legal professionals will be assigned to work on your case.

Each member of the team has specific knowledge that can help build your case. The team will first gather details about your asbestos exposure and mesothelioma diagnosis and determine if the law firm can help you file a claim.

Further, the team will guide you on which documents must be signed so your mesothelioma claim can be processed.

Build Support for Your Claim
If the law firm believes it can help you, your legal team will gather supporting evidence for a claim.

During this phase, the team will determine:

If you worked on a jobsite that exposed other victims to asbestos

What asbestos-containing products (and manufacturers) may have caused your illness

Identify and obtain other needed medical records and work information

In some cases, the law firm may be able to use information from previous victims they have represented to strengthen a current claim.
File a Claim
Once the team has gathered all the information they need, your claim will be filed.

Mesothelioma claims typically fall into the following categories:

Lawsuits filed against the manufacturers of asbestos-containing products

Asbestos trust fund claims

Asbestos Trust Funds

Help pay for expenses

$30 Billion available

Reserved for Mesothelioma victims

See If You Qualify

The team will determine which manufacturers may have caused your illness and take appropriate legal action against them.

If the company is still in business, an asbestos lawsuit may be filed. If the company has filed for bankruptcy, they cannot be sued, but they may have an active asbestos trust fund to compensate victims.

Claims are often filed against multiple manufacturers through a lawsuit or with asbestos trust funds, depending on which manufacturers exposed a victim to asbestos.

Helps Victims Receive Compensation

Once a claim has been filed, the law firm will work on your behalf to receive compensation. Compensation is typically secured by reaching settlements with the manufacturers that are still in business or by filing a successful asbestos trust fund claim.

Mesothelioma compensation can help pay for:

Counseling and support services

Funeral and burial costs

Living expenses

Medical treatments and surgeries

Physical therapy

Travel expenses associated with treatment

Wages lost due to inability to work

Compensation is not limited to the costs associated with mesothelioma and can be used for anything once you receive it. You could possibly receive money within a matter of months, depending on what manufacturers or trust funds are named in your claim.

It is likely that you will receive checks at several different points throughout the process. You will need to sign legal documents to release these funds after compensation is secured. The faster you sign and submit these documents, the sooner you can receive compensation.

What to Look for in a Mesothelioma Law Firm

Experienced mesothelioma law firms should always put the needs of victims first. With that in mind, here is what anyone should look for when trying to find the mesothelioma law firm that is best for them.

Asbestos Industry Knowledge

Receiving compensation with a legal claim requires complex documentation and significant research. Mesothelioma law firms should have in-depth information about the asbestos industry to strengthen cases.

Key information about the asbestos industry includes:

The companies that produced asbestos-containing products

When the products were used

Which job sites carried a high risk of asbestos exposure

Which companies have established asbestos trust funds

Mesothelioma law firms with decades of experience have tracked the asbestos industry closely. The best firms have databases worth of information, including what asbestos-containing products each manufacturer made and which manufacturers are still in business.

Free Consultation & No Upfront Costs

A victim’s relationship with a mesothelioma law firm should begin with a free in-person consultation. This consultation will help victims learn about the law firm and the experience of its team members.

During this consultation, a mesothelioma law firm will typically send a representative to meet the victim to discuss the case at a place of their choosing.

Victims should not have to pay any upfront fees if they decide to work with the law firm after this first meeting. Almost all mesothelioma law firms work on a contingency basis, meaning they only get paid if they successfully secure compensation for victims.

Years of Experience

Asbestos-related lawsuits have been filed for decades, so the mesothelioma law firm a victim works with choose should also have decades of experience handling this case type.

Mesothelioma Lawyers

Mesothelioma law firms work with skilled lawyers who know how to best handle asbestos lawsuits. Experienced mesothelioma lawyers have spent years (if not decades) representing victims.

Mesothelioma lawyers should have:

Dedication and passion for helping anyone suffering from a mesothelioma diagnosis

Access to a massive database of evidence, asbestos-containing products, and locations

Broad knowledge of asbestos products, occupations, job sites, and jurisdiction rules

Victims are encouraged to seek out law firms that have mesothelioma lawyers on staff. General lawyers that work at local law firms may not be able to file a claim in the state that maximizes a victim’s compensation.

Medical Knowledge of Mesothelioma

The best mesothelioma law firms have access to the latest knowledge and information from medical experts who work directly with mesothelioma patients.
These medical experts understand:
Mesothelioma signs and symptoms
Each stage of the disease
Expected outcomes of a diagnosis

Treatment options

Clinical trials that study new ways to diagnose and treat this cancer

Medical experts will be assigned to work on a mesothelioma victim’s case as part of their dedicated trial team.

Nationwide Reach

Sometimes, the best state for a victim’s claim may not be the one where they live. Mesothelioma law firms can help determine which state may award victims with the most amount of compensation in the shortest amount of time.

Further, national mesothelioma law firms understand the regulations for lawsuits and asbestos trust fund claims in almost any state. This helps reduce possible legal roadblocks and may increase the amount of compensation a victim receives.

Success in Securing Top Settlements and Verdicts

Successful mesothelioma law firms have helped thousands of victims obtain mesothelioma settlements or verdicts. The law firm a victim works with should have a proven track record of helping other victims receive compensation.

Most lawsuits will be settled out of court, and victims can expect to receive $1 Million on average from mesothelioma settlements. Some cases may award more or less than this number.

In rare cases, a lawsuit may go to trial if a settlement can’t be reached. Asbestos lawsuit trial verdicts typically award an average of $2.4 Million, according to recent reports.

Ahmedabad airport gearing up for post-lockdown air travel

At a time when the COVID-19 pandemic across the world has grounded airlines and brought air travel to a grinding halt, the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad is leaving no stone unturned to prepare itself for ensuring the safety of passengers whenever commercial flight operations resume.
The Ahmedabad airport authorities posted several pictures on social media to let passengers know how they intend to maintain social distancing when flight services resume in the country.
Notably, the authorities have demarcated the airport’s entrances, as well as security check areas, to ensure proper gap between two passengers while waiting in the queue. Also, chairs in the waiting area have been arranged in such a way that passengers can abide by the social distancing norms of the government.
This apart, every alternate chair has been marked with an ‘X’ which signifies that it is not meant for sitting to maintain the gap between two passengers.
Meanwhile, the Centre has already clarified that airlines should not restart bookings until the government clears air travel. Notably, prohibition on air travel has been imposed until May 3 and is likely to be extended as hundreds of fresh COVID-19 cases are being reported in the country on a daily basis.
